Dr. Heena Sunil Oza is Master in Commerce (M. Com.) with Gold Medal from Bhavnagar University. She has done her Doctorate (Ph.D.) in ‘Management Control Systems’ in Commerce fieldfrom faculty of Management, from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She is also Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
In the initial years of her career she worked with Essar Steel (Hazira, Surat) as Accounts & Costing Officer and Baroda Rayon Corporation Ltd. Surat as Costing Officer, both in manufacturing sector for four years.
She Joined the Academic sector from the year 1992. Since 1992 she has been working with SPB English Medium College of Commerce, Surat. Along with teaching-learning of various courses in Financial Accounting, Costing, Management Accounting, and taxation at Under graduate, Post graduate level and also M. Phil. And Ph.D. course work level, she has wide experience of working with planning forum, cultural and social activities, and IQAC Co-ordinator.

She has published number of Books in Accountancy, Costing, Taxation and Management Accounting for Under Graduate and post graduate students. She is a passionate researcher. She has published more than 60 research papers, and presented more than 40 papers at various national and international conferences. She has guided 18 research scholars for M. Phil / Ph.D. degree in Commerce. Recently she completed major research project of University grants Commission on ‘Study of Performance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System in ManufacturingFacilities in India. She has served as resource person/ Key Note Speaker in various academic forums.

She has been actively involved in professional development activities as fellow member of institute of Cost Accountants of India. She has been actively engaged as Office bearer of Surat- South Gujarat Chapet of Cost Accountants for more than 20 years and served as Chairman of Surat- South Gujarat Chapter of Cost Accountants for 6 years.She is an active Rotarian, having served as President of Rotary of Surat Round town. She is founder Secretary of South Gujarat branch of Indian Accounting Association.
